Seraph's single debut received a lukewarm response in Europe... But in Finland everyone hated it. We wanted to to things differently with Seraph's second and final release.
Where Eden was midtempo, lush and maybe a tad overproduced, we wanted to make Early Grave it's angry younger brother. We wanted to undo all our previous mistakes which (when it comes to the critics called our customers) were having too little dirty vocals, a lead singer in the first place, too much keys and too little guitars.
This time we started with the guitar sound: It was HUGE. I'm personally thanking my VH100R's demonic distortion for it. The second problem we fixed was the keyboard problem. Now we only have this ultra haunting little melody in the chorus. We also ditched the bitches from our group and the only vocalist on this product was Nathan Kerosene and his whiskey-bent screaming voice.
The end result is a good follow-up for the wrong single. Way heavier than the first and probably way heavier than anything I'm going to write/record in the near future as well. Since Seraph ended, the future of this track is still open... It will be released in iTunes and Spotify on 01.01.2015 though.
