Eden was recorded at Soundmix Recording studio at the end of 2013 and saw daylight on February 2014.
Seraph began recording their debut single at Soundmix Recording Studio in Oul, Finland in late 2013 with the producer Mika Pohjola. The recording sessions were fun because myself and the producer (obviously) were the only people of the group that knew what the fuck we were doing.
Seraph was formed by Nathan Kerosene in 2013 alongside with Siddhartha Gaytama on rhythm guitar, myself on lead guitar, Riina Haponen as the vocalist, Damian Craynes as the random sound effect guy and Martin Fox on bass. As I mentioned before, no-one really knew what the fuck they were doing so the sessions were pretty chaotic. The original vision for Seraph was this lame Amarenthe rip-off (thank god that never happened, I hate that band) and the result sounded very different from the initial vision. Eden was way poppier sounding than we originally intended, maybe a little too poppy. Sure the guitars were heavy and there was a shit load of keyboards and shit like that, but the mixing was really lush... There are tons of other flaws with the single other than that, but I'll let you find out about that.
